In Wednesday (February 8) we had severe stability problems with ejabberd, the software we use for our Jabber/XMPP server. Today we resorted to rebooting the server and upgrading ejabberd to the newest version (17.01) in the process. For now it seems the problems are solved, but we're keeping a close eye on this.
